The meticulous nature of stippling inherently lends itself to small, intimate works filled with precious details. With this piece, I challenged myself to push beyond those boundaries and work on a much larger scale. As one of my most expansive stippled pieces to date, it is built through tens of thousands of intricate ink dots and soft watercolor washes. The juxtaposition of raw, visceral emotion and delicate petals reveals a strangely enchanting story of growth, giving the viewer even more space to get lost in the details.
