I keep returning to this imagery because I am fascinated by the beautiful, often unsettling cycles of growth, decay, and symbiosis. I use thousands of stippled ink dots and watercolor washes, a slow and deliberate process that mirrors the gradual, quiet pace of nature taking over. I want my work to show people that there is magic and beauty to be found even in decay.
